I asked some friends to write something about me and here is what i’ve got :

« I am so happy that 2 months of traveling with Vanessa in Argentina is leading to a lifetime of friendship.  She is an amazing human being – both behind the lens and without – a dear friend and an amazing photographer.
The day that I met Vanessa, I was riding in a little village called Villa la Angostura .  I met two guys that were riding, and they said they were traveling with them and a photographer.  I hiked up a little ways with them, where I met Vanessa, there alone, building a kicker for a shot.  I think we became friends right away, and many stories later (the gas station party, the evening at the police station, lots and lots of hiking in the snow, pushing around a broken down car, visits to the US, Moe Bar, parrillas), I am lucky enough to continue to have her as such a good friend.
As an added bonus, my trip to Argentina where I met her, is documented with the many beautiful pictures she took – of snowboarding, landscapes, the culture, and more.  She captured everything perfectly!  Vanessa’s beauty and passion for life show in all of her pictures! » By Steph Peterson

Il y a 10 ans, elle a appuyé sur le détonateur, s’en est suivi une succession d’actions constituant 1 tout. C’était inévitable. Une bonne et lourde enfilade d’images fractales. Le processus était lancé, impossible de l’arrêter, tout le monde sautait dans tous les sens, une sorte de première guerre mondiale du plaisir ou plutot de quête de perfection. Non, ce nétait pas le retour de CHuck Norris, c’était l’éclosion du snow freestyle. Comme une poussée d’acné. Ca fait mal. Au milieu de tout çà, il y a Vanessa. Cette jeune femme à la voix cosmique qui porte un sac plus lourd qu’elle, au milieu de tous ces dingues solides, un sac rempli d’objectifs et de lumières artificielles pour les faire décoller avec ses yeux contrastés. Vaness qui vient du pays du soleil, elle les a apprivoisés, ces corps tombant dans la matière, pour les capturer à sa manière.” by Gaëlle Martina

“J’ai eu la chance de rencontrer vaness a ses débuts, donc j’ai pu la voir évoluer! Alors à tous ceux qui disent qu’elle se la pête, je dis :”Non, elle a toujours été comme ça!” Ah! Ah! Malgré son talent, elle restera toujours cette grande timide qui doute car ce n’est jamais assez bien! C’est un bel exemple de réussite féminine. Continue d’ouvrir la voix.
